Money has never remained the same throughout human history.
Its form has shifted.
Its meaning has shifted.
Its energetic relationship with humanity has shifted.
There was once a time where humans exchanged goods through barter systems. Communities traded crops, tools, labor, and skills in order to survive and support one another. Later came coins made from precious metals such as gold and silver. Then paper currency emerged. Banks evolved. Credit systems developed. And now, humanity is witnessing yet another transformation through digital currencies, online transactions, energetic economies, and decentralized systems.
Money itself has changed frequency many times.
And so have we.
Today, we live within a paradigm where money or currency is deeply connected to survival, security, opportunity, freedom, and even self-worth for many people. Our emotional relationship with money often reflects inherited beliefs, ancestral patterns, collective fears, societal conditioning, and personal experiences.
For some, money feels stressful.
For others, empowering.
For some, money feels unsafe to hold.
For others, it becomes a tool for expansion and contribution.
As spiritual practitioners, we are often taught conflicting messages around abundance.
Some people believe spirituality and wealth cannot coexist.
Others believe abundance is part of divine flow itself.
And this creates an important question:
What are YOUR beliefs about money?
Do you believe money is difficult to obtain?
Do you believe money changes people negatively?
Do you believe abundance is available for everyone?
Do you believe your gifts deserve energetic exchange?
Do you believe receiving is just as sacred as giving?
These questions matter because our relationship with money shapes how we show up in life, business, service, and even spiritual leadership.
As humanity moves deeper into what many astrologers associate with the emerging Age of Aquarius, conversations surrounding money, value systems, digital exchange, technology, community support, and collective consciousness are becoming louder.
Some astrology teachers, including Astrolada, have discussed the possibility of humanity moving further toward digital forms of currency and decentralized systems during these transformative times. Aquarius energy is often associated with innovation, technology, networks, collective evolution, and breaking away from outdated structures.
Whether or not every prediction unfolds exactly as imagined, one thing is certain:
Humanity’s relationship with value and exchange is evolving.
And spiritual practitioners are being invited to think differently about abundance.
Not from greed.
Not from fear.
But from conscious expansion.
Books such as #adThe Magic of Findhorn explored ideas of co-creation with nature, spiritual connection, community living, and trusting divine guidance in the flow of resources and abundance. These teachings inspired many people to reconsider what prosperity truly means beyond simple financial accumulation.
Yet for many people today, money wounds still exist deeply within the nervous system and emotional body.
Fear of not having enough.
Fear of charging for spiritual gifts.
Fear of visibility.
Fear of success.
Fear of failure.
Fear of being judged for desiring abundance.
This is why inner work around abundance matters.
Because abundance is not only external.
It is energetic.
Emotional.
Spiritual.
Mental.
And sometimes the greatest shifts begin when we consciously choose to raise the frequency of our relationship with receiving.
This is partly what inspired the creation of my Cosmic Money Shift sessions.
These sessions were also inspired by the work of Stephanie Brail, a Reiki Master who introduced Money Reiki in 2005 after experiencing profound transformation within her own relationship to abundance. Her work explored the idea that Reiki energy could be intentionally directed toward healing scarcity patterns, emotional blocks, and limiting beliefs connected to money and prosperity.
While every practitioner has their own spiritual philosophy, I believe there is value in examining not only our external financial habits, but also the energetic patterns we carry around receiving, worthiness, visibility, and expansion.
Inside the Spiritual Practitioners Unite Academy, I encourage members to journal deeply about their relationship with abundance.
I invite you to ask yourself:
What would life feel like if money was no longer a constant source of fear?
What would become possible if resources flowed more freely?
How many more people could you help if you felt supported emotionally, spiritually, and financially?
What causes would you contribute to?
What communities would you uplift?
What creations would you finally bring into the world?
The emerging Aquarian energy asks humanity to think bigger.
To expand beyond survival consciousness.
To innovate.
To connect.
To collaborate.
To evolve.
And perhaps one of the greatest abundance shifts is realizing that money itself is neither inherently spiritual nor unspiritual.
It is a tool.
A form of exchange.
A mirror reflecting consciousness, beliefs, values, fears, and possibilities.
As spiritual practitioners, we are being invited to create healthier relationships with abundance so we can serve from overflow instead of depletion.
Not everyone will agree on what abundance means.
And that is okay.
But what matters is becoming conscious of the energy we hold around receiving, giving, purpose, contribution, and expansion.
