What Are You Ready to Release and Rebirth?

Scorpio Season: October 23 – November 21

There is something about Scorpio Season that makes me slow down.

I notice myself wanting to go deeper. To listen more carefully. To pay attention to the things beneath the surface, the feelings, patterns, memories, attachments, and truths we don’t always want to look at.

From October 23 through November 21, the Sun travels through Scorpio, inviting us into a season of transformation, shadow work, emotional honesty, and rebirth.

And for me, Scorpio energy has always felt personal.

Both of my parents are Scorpio Suns.

Throughout my work as an astrologer, I’ve also noticed that many of the people who find their way to MysticaLiving carry strong Scorpio placements or significant Scorpio energy in their birth charts.

Maybe that’s part of why I understand the depth of Scorpio so well.

Scorpio Doesn’t Do Surface-Level

Scorpio feels deeply.

It loves deeply.

It hurts deeply.

And it transforms deeply.

This is an energy that wants to understand what is really happening—not just what appears to be happening.

Scorpio asks questions that can sometimes make us uncomfortable:

What are you afraid to admit?

What are you still holding onto?

What part of your life has already ended, but you’re afraid to let go?

What truth have you been avoiding?

This is where Scorpio Season can become incredibly powerful.

Because you cannot transform what you refuse to see.

The Courage to Face Your Shadow

Scorpio is often associated with the shadow, but I don’t think shadow work is about judging the darker parts of ourselves.

It’s about becoming willing to see them.

The grief.

The betrayal.

The resentment.

The fear.

The need for control.

The attachment.

The version of yourself you created because you needed to survive something.

Scorpio reminds us that our shadows don’t necessarily need to be destroyed.

They need to be understood.

There is a difference between acknowledging your shadow and allowing it to run your life.

And sometimes, the most fearless thing you can do in this lifetime is turn toward the very thing you’ve spent years trying not to feel.

The Scorpio Need to Hold On

One of the lessons I often associate with Scorpio energy is learning the difference between holding on and honoring.

Sometimes we hold on because something mattered.

Sometimes we hold on because we’re afraid that releasing it means losing a part of ourselves.

We can hold onto relationships.

Memories.

Old identities.

Pain.

Control.

Even stories about who we believe we are.

But Scorpio Season asks:

What if letting go isn’t losing yourself?

What if letting go is how you make room for the next version of yourself?

That doesn’t mean the past didn’t matter.

It means the past doesn’t have to become your permanent residence.

Scorpio and the Mystery of Rebirth

Scorpio carries a powerful death-and-rebirth symbolism.

Not necessarily literal death, but the ending of something that has completed its purpose.

A relationship.

A belief.

A pattern.

A version of yourself.

A way of living.

Sometimes transformation doesn’t feel beautiful while you’re experiencing it.

Sometimes it feels like everything is falling apart.

Sometimes you know you can’t go back, but you don’t yet know what comes next.

That space can be uncomfortable.

But it can also be sacred.

Because something is changing.

And sometimes the person you’re becoming can only emerge after you’re willing to release who you thought you had to be.

If You Have Strong Scorpio Placements…

If you’re a Scorpio Sun, Moon, Rising, or have a Scorpio Stellium, I’ll say this lovingly:

Your lifetime is not going to be boring.

You may experience life through profound chapters of transformation.

You may repeatedly find yourself being asked to release, rebuild, and discover deeper versions of yourself.

You may see beneath the surface of people and situations in ways others don’t always understand.

Your depth is not something you need to apologize for.

But your depth isn’t meant to become a prison either.

You are allowed to evolve.

You are allowed to outgrow the story.

You are allowed to stop carrying something simply because you’ve carried it for a long time.

What Are You Meant to Learn This Scorpio Season?

Scorpio Season may be asking you to learn when to hold on—and when to release.

It may be asking you to face your shadow without becoming consumed by it.

It may be asking you to acknowledge your past without continuing to live inside of it.

It may be asking you to become honest about what isn’t working anymore.

Or perhaps it is asking you a much bigger question:

Who are you becoming when you finally stop living from what you’ve survived?

That’s the question I’m carrying with me this Scorpio Season.

Because I don’t believe transformation is always about becoming someone completely different.

Sometimes it’s about peeling away everything that isn’t you…

until you finally meet yourself underneath it all.
