We are officially in Virgo Sun season. Virgo’s are known for their analytical and detail-oriented nature..Often many Virgo’s approach life with a methodical mindset, seeking to understand and organize the world around them. This sign is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect, making Virgos particularly skilled at critical thinking and problem-solving.
However, this same analytical strength can sometimes lead to overthinking, which may block intuitive insights. Automatic writing is a practice where thoughts are freely written down without conscious filtering. This can be a powerful tool during Virgos season as well as any time throughout the year. By engaging in automatic writing, you can bypass your logical mind and tap into deeper, intuitive wisdom. This practice allows access to insights and guidance that might be obscured by their usual critical thinking, helping them gain clarity and a more balanced perspective.
Today I would like to share steps on how to use automatic writing to intuitively recieve downloads or calm the mind.
Automatic Writing Steps
STEP 1: Before I start automatic writing, I clear my chakras and I make sure I’m gounded. There’s a number of resources available to assist you with Chakra Clearing and Grounding Practices. To name a few practices:
- Chakra Meditation: Focus on each chakra individually, visualizing a ball of light in the corresponding color (e.g., red for the root chakra, orange for the sacral chakra) and imagine it becoming brighter and clearer as you breathe deeply.
- Color Visualization: Imagine the color associated with each chakra filling your body and clearing away any blockages.
- Crystal Healing: Place crystals associated with each chakra on your body during meditation (e.g., red jasper for the root chakra, amethyst for the crown chakra) to help balance and clear them.
- Reiki: Reiki practitioner can channel energy to clear and balance your chakras. If you desire to have an Angelic Reiki Session with me, you can visit: https://mysticaliving1.com/product/archangel-reiki-healing-session/
- Grounding Exercise: Connect with the Earth: Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet, extending deep into the earth. Feel these roots anchoring you firmly, connecting you to the solid ground below.
- Release Excess Energy: If you’re feeling overwhelmed or anxious, imagine any excess energy or stress flowing back down through your roots and into the earth, where it can be transformed.
STEP 2: Choose a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed. Clear any clutter and create a calm atmosphere. You might want to light a candle, play soft music, or use incense to help set the mood.
STEP 3: Cast a protection circle. The protectin circle I commonly use involves the 4 watchtower Angels. Who are Archangels Michael, Archangel Raphael, Archangel Gabriel and Archangels Uriel. Each angel provide those who call upon them protection from the East, South, West and North directions. There are many ways to call in your circle of protection prior to doing automatic writing, so I highly recommend you follow a path that resonates with you.
STEP 4: Setting your intention before automatic writing is a crucial step that helps to focus your energy and align your subconscious with your desired outcome. By clearly defining what you hope to explore or receive guidance on, you create a mental and emotional framework that directs the flow of your writing.
This intention acts as a guide, helping to channel your thoughts and intuition in a purposeful direction, making the automatic writing session more meaningful and insightful. Whether you’re seeking answers to a specific question or looking for general wisdom, a well-set intention will help open the door to deeper, more relevant insights.
STEP 5: Choose your method of how you desire to automatic write. I prefer a black pen and notebook paper, but we are all different and different methods may suit us better. These methods may include:
- Computer or Tablet: Typing on a computer or tablet can be faster for some people, allowing thoughts to flow quickly without the interruption of handwriting. It’s also easy to store, edit, and review your sessions digitally.
- Voice-to-Text Software: For those who prefer speaking over writing, voice-to-text software can capture your spoken words and convert them into written text. This can be particularly useful if you find that your thoughts flow more freely when you speak rather than write.
- Audio Recorder: If you’re more comfortable with speaking, using an audio recorder to capture your thoughts verbally can be an effective method. You can later transcribe the recording if you wish to analyze the content.
STEP 6: Start writing without judgment if you are doing automatic writing wrong or right. Just allow your mind to flow with any messages you might need to calm the mind. Or any messages you need answered.
STEP 7: When you feel complete. Read you writing with an open mind and an open Heart Chakra. As you read, notice if certain words, phrases, or ideas repeat or stand out. These could indicate a theme or message that your subconscious mind is trying to convey. Pay attention to any emotional reactions or thoughts that arise as you read.
Automatic writing often brings up symbolic language or imagery. Try to interpret these symbols in the context of your life. For example, a recurring image of water might represent emotions, cleansing, or flow, depending on how you personally relate to that symbol.
Sometimes the meaning of your automatic writing may not be clear right away. It can be helpful to revisit your writing after some time has passed, as new perspectives or experiences may shed light on its significance.
Final Thoughts: When you’re done, take a moment to thank yourself and the process. Close the session with a few deep breaths, and if desired, jot down any final thoughts or feelings. Thank your Angelic Guards or Allies for assisting you in this session.
