Course Introduction
Welcome to Chart Synthesis: Putting It All Together.
My name is Heather, founder of MysticaLiving, astrologer, intuitive practitioner, and lifelong student of the celestial arts. Throughout my astrological journey, I have studied multiple branches of astrology including Hellenistic Astrology, Vedic Astrology, Modern Western Astrology, and Astrocartography. While each system offers unique techniques and perspectives, they all share one common goal: helping us better understand ourselves and our soul’s journey through life.
One of the biggest challenges beginning astrologers face is learning how to move beyond isolated meanings and start seeing the chart as a complete story. Many students learn what a planet means, what a sign means, and what a house means, but struggle to blend everything together into a meaningful interpretation.
This process is called Chart Synthesis.
Chart synthesis is the art of taking individual pieces of the natal chart and weaving them together into a story that describes a person’s personality, emotional needs, strengths, challenges, purpose, and life direction.
In this course, we will begin with a very simple framework. Before analyzing every planet, aspect, asteroid, or technique, we want to identify three foundational placements:
- The Rising Sign
- The Moon
- The Sun
I call these placements the Astrological Trinity.
These three placements alone can provide a surprisingly accurate snapshot of a person’s energy and serve as the foundation for deeper chart interpretation.
Whether you are reading your own chart, exploring the chart of a friend or family member, or beginning your journey as an astrologer, this framework will help you develop confidence in your chart-reading abilities.
